I was running Logic 9 on OSX 10.6.8 on my macbook until recently. I just got an iMac with Yosemite version 10.10.5 and installed all of the Logic Studio disks that I had from when I first bought Logic in 2009.
I installed everything correctly, following the installation instructions.

Unfortunately, once I had finished installing everything (all applications, audio content, jam packs etc), I find that Yosemite can't run Logic 9.
Here's the message I get when I try to open Logic

I am quite shocked by this as I was informed by numerous people that installing my Logic Studio disks to Yosemite was the correct method of transferring Logic to my new machine and that it would cause no problems.
1. Does this sound right? What versions of Logic are compatible with OSX 10.10.5?

2. The situation now is that I can't even open Logic to update it. How can I resolve this?
